SCENERY-COSTUME LOAD-IN
|
|
The loading doors for both scenery and costumes are from the
west side of the building (Washington Street).
Scenery load-in door: 8'x10' and 9' above street pavement.
A hydraulic platform lift, 71/2' x 10' @ 3,000 lbs. capacity
is used to load from street level or truck bed to stage level.
Only theatre personnel are authorized to operate hydraulic lift.
The load-in area will be barricaded and free of snow and obstacles
prior to load-in.
Parking is very limited around the theatre. Trucks and buses
must either be relocated or parallel parked after load-in.
Dressing room load-in access is from street level under the hydraulic
lift.
Street level access to the ballroom in the basement of the theatre
(Galena Street-south of theatre) is available for staging, wardrobe
or symphony instruments depending on requirements of production
and availability of ballroom.

ORCHESTRA PIT
|
Orchestra pit has a removable cover to increase downstage area.
Pit is equipped with 6 dimmable and 6 house duplex A/C outlets.
Orchestra pit has a fixed floor (non-hydraulic). Will accommodate
approximately 20 musicians. Adjacent to the pit are 2 removable
platforms (cover downstage access steps) at stage level that
add 72 square feet of performance area.

DRESSING ROOMS/WARDROBE
|
2 dressing rooms, one floor below stage, accommodate 10 persons
comfortably. Each room is equipped with 10 lighted mirrors, showers,
lavatories, water cooler, and communication with SM and show
sound "piped in." No "Star" dressing rooms.
Green room adjacent to women's dressing room may also be used
as a VIP dressing room, for small receptions or for greeting
guests. Adjacent to the green room is a small, private lavatory.
Dressing rooms are accessible from stairs off SL or SR. Hallway
may be used for crossovers under the stage if necessary.
The Orphan Girl Theatre may also be available for warm-up, staging,
or to serve as extra dressing areas, if scheduling permits. Dressing
rooms, green room, and hall doors are lockable.

*Note: Due to spacing criteria,
certain battens will bump the adjacent electric. There are 3
sets of "bumpers" for electrics to minimize the hanging
up on nearby battens. It is not recommended hanging anything
that needs to be brought in and out during a performance (particularly
if done fast) on these battens. Drops, drapes, legs and borders
can be removed or rearranged to suit show requirements. Grand
drape, movie screen and electrics are permanently hung. Early
pre-planning of fly schedule is recommended for safe rigging.
House TD has final authority on hanging schedule.

pit at bottom of mezzanine. 1.44 Mb
3 ¼ disk storage; 600 cue capability; 1556 channel/sub
masters; soft patch. The light board is DMX and AMX compatible.
DMX port backstage left. Monitors are recessed in dedicated control
location and to be used by road consoles.
There are approximately 180-2000 watt 20A dimmers for general
use. 10 are dedicated for house light use. All can be multiplexed.
There are 2-D50AF 50-amp dimmers wired to U.S. wall plugs.
See attached stage plan for circuit information. All circuits
permanently wired to dimmers.

Road console, if used, will be patched to theatre's house board

The Mother Lode Theatre is equipped with a 'Simplex XL' 35 mm
projector, located in upper balcony, Dolby stereo sound system
and 36'x 18' movie screen. located in upper balcony. There is
room for setting up a subtitle projector. Other locations for
a subtitle projector are available. Sound link is available to
control pit. House movie screen can be lowered to use for subtitles.

HIGH SPEED IP

|
The Mother Lode Theatre is
a Digital Junction Networks Wide Area Network Peer location. Up
to 25 mbps of IP Network access is available, delivered on a 100 mbps
Ethernet Port. Termination equipment is located backstage
SL. WAN IP services are provided with public
IP addresses and as direct public network access. Mother Lode
Theatre WAN connectivity is via dual span digital microwave.
Services must be contracted for separately and in advance by
contacting Digital
Junction Networks (406) 310-1123.
WiFi Internet Access is also available at the Mother Lode
Theatre at no charge to groups renting the theatre, ballrooms, etc.,
as well as show patrons/attendees. WiFi connectivity is
available by connecting to SSID: DJN.PUBLIC.WIFI (no
password or WEP codes are required). This connectivity is
available for traditional Internet access needs, but should not be
used for live performance streaming or other real time
requirements. Wired Ethernet connectivity can be provided at
an additional charge for live performance requirements, including

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
|
|
The Mother Lode Theatre reserves exclusive right to sell concessions.
If company sells any merchandise, house receives 15 percent on
all gross sales (20 percent if the theatre provides personnel).
Tables are available for product sales in lobby. As a courtesy,
due to limited patron parking, the theatre prefers to open house
60 minutes prior to curtain. Uniformed police or other personnel
may be available for extra security upon request. Security fees
may be charged to company/producer.
